Q.  What can I expect at a Dinner Thyme Solution session?

A.  Everything you’ll need to take the hassle out of dinner time.  We’ve designed the menus, shopped, chopped, and prepared the ingredients, so you just have fun preparing your dinners.  Once you arrive, our staff will check you in and give you a tour of our kitchen.  You'll receive a list of the entrees that you ordered, then pick a station and begin.  You’ll leave with a variety of delicious dinners for your family, packaged in either aluminum containers or Ziploc bags for oven cooking, crock-pot, or saucepan cooking.

Q. Will I save on food costs with Dinner Thyme services?

A. Because of our buying power, Dinner Thyme can cut your food budget and save you time and energy! When you factor in the extensiveness of your grocery list for all the ingredients of 14 main course meals, the waste of unused ingredients, and the time to shop, chop and clean up, there is no doubt what a savings and convenience this really is.

 Q. Will this really save time?

A. Consider that…the average drive to the grocery store is ten minutes…the average stop at the grocery store is 45 minutes…the average time for unloading and putting away the groceries is 15 minutes…the average time for food preparation is 45 minutes…the average clean-up time is 15 minutes…and that was just for dinner for one night. What can you do with an extra two hours each day?

Q. Will my kids like the food?

A. Dinner Thyme entrees are aimed at satisfying a wide variety of tastes. Our menus are all taste-tested first in our own homes. Our husbands and children give our recipes thumbs up before we place them on our menus. And the beauty of custom creating your own meals is that you’ll be able to make sure that each recipe comes out just the way your family likes it! If you don’t care for a particular ingredient, feel free to leave it out. 

Q. How many people will each menu item serve?

A.  Our entrees are packaged to serve 2, 4 or 6, depending on appetitie size.  All of our portions are hearty and filling, and make great leftovers for your next day's lunch.

Q. Can I make more than one of the same entree during a session?

A. To accommodate the flow of our sessions, we ask that you limit your selection of the same entree to no more than 4.

Q. What do I need to bring to a session?

A. For maximum food safety, please bring a cooler to carry home your dinners.  Card board boxes or laundry basket will also work in a pinch.  If you remember to bring a cooler and it is above 70 degrees outside, please bring it inside our store when you arrive. 

Q. I placed an order to get assembled and I'll pick up.  My order confirmation says "Session Date and Time" is 11/7/2018 2:00pm". Does this mean I didn't order the assemble for pickup option? 

A. Sorry our wording on "Assembled for Pickup" and "Assembled and Delivered" order confirmations is misleading.  To verify that you placed your order correctly, please look further down the email just after your address, phone number and email address.  Look for the Meal Plan description.  If that is what you wanted to order then you did it correctly.  We have a 3-4 hour window available for all pickup orders and the time on your confirmation is the beginning of that 3-4 hour window that you can pickup.  It does not mean you have to pickup right at that time, but we strive to have your order ready to pickup as early as the time stated on your confirmation. 

Q. My family has food allergies, can I still use your service?

A. For your families safety, please inform us of any food allergies prior to your scheduled session.  We will do our best to assist with substitutions or changes to accommodate your needs.

Q.  We love (hate) spicy food.  Can we adjust your recipes?

A.  YES!  We provide a variety of spices to be customized to your taste.  We will also assist with changes to recipes if you don’t care for a particular ingredient.

Q.  Do you provide nutritional information?

A.  Yes.  It is our mission to provide the best value and best tasting entrees for our customers.  The nutritional information reflects generous portions with ingredients that support healthy eating habits while being designed to provide optimal taste.  Unless noted, nutritional values are for single servings and will be noted if values do not include provided rice or other starch.

Q. How do I pay?

A. You may pay when you attend your session or pickup your order and we accept cash, checks, Debt Card, Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

Q. How do I reschedule?

A. We will be glad to help with rescheduling, just give us a call.  We appreciate as much notice as possible, but we understand thnigs happen last minute.
